WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!!!

Welcome to our journey of love, living in the face of loss and just plain living. We've experienced the greatest loss a parent can face--the loss our our baby daughter, Sylvia. She flew to Heaven due to complications of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) on 2/26/09. We have two "Earth Angel" children, Will and Stella. They have been a great help on this journey. We live a blessed rich life in spite of our loss. We are lucky to be parents to such special children. They are our life. Welcome to our life!

Announcing...

Stella Sylvia Houselog made her entrance into the world on Monday, Feb. 22 at 8:31am. She came via planned c-section. Everything went very smoothly. She weighed in at 9 pounds 7 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. Everyone in our family is well. Will's prediction of girl was right on. Mommy and baby are doing well. Daddy is pleased as punch and taking good care of his girls. Sylvia watches over us all from above. We are blessed. We promise to take excellent care of this daughter we were meant to raise on Earth. Thank you for all your words of support. Check out the pictures of Rainbow now known as STELLA!
**The guy in the 2nd picture is my brother, Bob who is also Stella's godfather. I thought the pic was cute as he's my godfather too AND his fashionista wife, Kelly, is responsible for the cute headband! Showing off his oldest and youngest goddaughters.

    She is absolutely beautiful!!! I must say once again that I'm very jealous of all the hair. What's with all these Schumacher babies having tons of hair excpet mine?

    We are so happy for you guys! Huge congrats! I love all of your pics esp. of the one of Andy kissing Stella right after she was born. Tears are a flowing in these eyes. What a perfect, happy day! Sending all of our love!!! :)
