WELCOME TO OUR WORLD!!!

Welcome to our journey of love, living in the face of loss and just plain living. We've experienced the greatest loss a parent can face--the loss our our baby daughter, Sylvia. She flew to Heaven due to complications of congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) on 2/26/09. We have two "Earth Angel" children, Will and Stella. They have been a great help on this journey. We live a blessed rich life in spite of our loss. We are lucky to be parents to such special children. They are our life. Welcome to our life!

Comments and mantage

Hello all,

I made another video mantage. This one is from the last week of June to present. It takes about 6 minutes to view so give yourself some time to watch it. Also, I'd like to ask you to comment on my blog. I miss hearing from you like we did on Carepages! It is my readers who keep me motivated to write. When I don't hear from you, I get discouraged. However, I'm betting you all just haven't figured out how to comment yet. Register or whatever you need to do. You could also leave a comment as anonymous, but make sure to sign your name if you do that. It is kind of funny how leaving comments on blogger works, but you have to leave the comment first and then sign in and choose how you are "connected," ie Google Account or Anonymous. Creating a google account is easy. I had to do it to make this blog.

Enjoy the mantage. I swear that Will could be a child model. He is soooooooo photogenic unlike me! Hope the summer finds you all well!

Hi Beth, Andy and Will,

This is awesome and we just love it! Alex and Ashley adore Will so much and he is their "little brother" at heart. Always and forever! I know this last week has been really hard thinking about Sylvia. Everytime I see one of your roses bloom in your garden, I think of her and that is her way of telling you she is always around you. Keep writing! You have such an amazing gift of expression. Keep posting your pics and videos...they are truly amazing!

Wow Beth, you do so well with this. It looks like you have been having a lot of fun this summer, you deserve it.
The photo from the picnic last weekend are great - you can almost see Sylvi there with you.

A Child Loaned

The Chosen Ones
I had a dream the other night. It came to me so clear. I stood before the throne of God, afraid to come too near. God said to me, "I hear your prayers. There are answers you can't find.
