Okay, I'm going to post this. Please don't think I sit around here sad all the time. But, I found this song tonight before all the Rainbow Baby stuff and it did have me a bit sad, but I thought it my duty to share especially with my fellow angel baby moms. I especially thought of Maxton, Kayden, Sam, Kasey, Elliott, Jackson, Lewis, Andrew, Nathan and so many more little boys that have died. To mom of Lewis Nathan over on the other side of the world battling cdh with him right now, you are especially in my thoughts and prayers. I know your angel baby, Nathan, is watching over his little bro. When I heard this song, I had the earphones on. I looked at my little joy in Will watching him play and thought how blessed I am. I kissed and hugged him right at the conclusion of the song. He tells me he loves me spontaneously now...I love it! Then the lyrics to this song of course made me think of Sylvia. Closing the curtains to say hello and goodbye is something I think of each day for it is the only time I ever held her. How can a mother of a would-be 9 month old not think of that each day?Anyhow, again, don't think I'm all doom and gloom. It is another wonderful day with Andy and Will. We're going to try to get his 3-year-old pictures today so they are ready when Grandma and Grandpa come for Thanksgiving. I've been researching to find the best turkey, sweet potatoes and everything else recipes. I wish I would have known of this song a long time ago. However, I also listened to "To Where you Are" by Josh Groban last night and remembered my sweet girl. I am glad that was the song we used for her service. Angel moms, if you search You Tube, there is a video of this same song and lots of parents and angel babies. It is an "ad" for Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep photographers...How perfect... I love this guy's voice. Maybe I'll add his CD to my Christmas list. He has funny songs too when I did some searches on him, which is good because I like to laught too! I thought this would be the better one to post so people could read the lyrics...
Okay, I can't figure out how to get this video to show up on my post so just go to youtube.com and search for Smallest Wingless Play the first one that pops up as it has lyrics.
To end this on a happy note, I just found the cake I'm going to make for Will's birthday. He's back on a Veggie Tales kick so Bob the Tomato it will be!
Hi, Beth,
ReplyDeleteFirst, we missed you very much this week-end...
And yes, music can be so powerful! I'm glad you found a song that expresses how you feel and explains a little of what you and Andy have been living through.
I wanted to share another amazing song with you. I have loved this song for awhile because of its' beautiful melody, but I only learned the lyrics in Sept. It's very fitting and very true. The reason I love this song so much is that it says that having faith and loving God does not mean people will not suffer on this Earth. We do live in a world that has been rendered imperfect by humankind. God's promise, however, is to Hold us and to welcome us into Eternal life when our time on Earth is done. Here's the link. I hope you like it. There are many different videos set to this song, but I think this one is the best one.
